“In Space”
The title ”In Space” is really fitting after the image material entitled ”Space”: here the characters organically fit into the interior and object photos taken with the perspective encountered in the previous series. The characters do not overwrite their milieus; they rather become the ’patterns’ and ’decorations’ giving the spaces an extra twist. The humour of the pictures originates exactly from this type of togetherness: in the symmetry of the doors the two figures that seem to be the same become schematic and comic as we glance at each of them back and forth.
